Tarrant County Arrest Log | Daily and Recent Bookings

Tarrant County, Texas · 24-hour booking reports, recent arrests, CID records and jail status

Read Tarrant County Daily Booked-In Reports and Confirm Current Custody

Use the Sheriff’s Daily Booked In Reports when you need to see who entered the Tarrant County Jail during a recent 24-hour reporting period. Day 1 is the newest report; Day 14 is the oldest report still listed.

A name in the arrest log does not mean the person remains in custody. After finding a possible match, use the individual inmate search to check the current status, charges and bond. Then route misdemeanor cases to the County Clerk or felony cases to the District Clerk for the court outcome.

A daily booking is not a conviction—and it is not a live jail roster. It shows that a person was processed during the report’s time period. The person may later be released, transferred, cleared, charged differently or never convicted.

Official 14-day booking reports

How to use the Tarrant County daily arrest log

The Sheriff’s Daily Booked In Reports page provides 14 links. Day 1 is the newest report and Day 14 is the oldest. Each PDF is headed “Inmates Booked In During the Past 24 Hours” and displays its own report date.
Open the official Daily Booked In Reports page Do not begin with a third-party mugshot or people-search website. Open the 14 official reports
Select Day 1 for the newest list The link opens a PDF generated from the latest available reporting period.
Read the report date before searching names The report date appears at the top of every page. Do not assume Day 1 represents the same calendar date every time you revisit a saved PDF.
Use the PDF search command On most computers press Ctrl+F; on a phone use the PDF viewer’s search icon. Enter the surname first.
Search spelling variations Try a hyphenated surname, maiden name, suffix, shortened first name or second surname.
Move backward one report at a time Search Days 2–14 when the arrest date or booking cutoff is uncertain.
Save the CID and booking number These identifiers help separate people with similar names and help with later jail or court questions.
Copy every charge description Several descriptions may share the same booking number. Do not stop after the first line.
Continue to the live inmate search The daily report does not tell you whether the person remains in custody.
Do not save only the direct PDF URL. The Day 1 file is continually replaced with the newest report. Save or print the PDF when you need a dated copy, and record the report date shown inside it.

Bond report and release

Use the bond report as a transaction log—not a release guarantee

A friend or family member cannot request another person’s letter unless that person remains in the Tarrant County Jail.

Health, property and release preparation

Use the jail’s internal request process for medical care

Medical care

Emergency care, assessment of new significant illness and monitoring of chronic conditions are available to inmates regardless of ability to pay.

Dental and vision

Dental triage, trauma care, abscess treatment and extraction are available. Eye examinations are available, but glasses are not provided.

Medication

Licensed medical staff distribute medication under jail physician orders. Some over-the-counter medicines may be purchased from commissary.

Family members should not bring medication to a jail lobby without instruction. Call 817-884-3000 and ask for the correct medical-information process when there is an urgent medication or health concern.

Property-release limits

Ordinary inmate property is not automatically released to family on request. The published policy generally authorizes property release for inmates being transferred to TDCJ, with limited hardship exceptions approved by jail command staff.
A person designated by an inmate transferring to TDCJ has 30 days from the transfer date to claim the property.
Correction and record clearing

Find the controlling court result before disputing a booking record

Save the original booking information Record the report date, CID, booking number and exact disputed entry.
Find the court case Route misdemeanors to the County Clerk and felonies to the District Clerk.
Obtain the final disposition Request a certified dismissal, judgment or other controlling order when proof is required.
Identify the record owner The jail, arresting police agency, court clerk and Texas DPS maintain different records.
Request factual correction first Send the office that owns the error the exact incorrect field and supporting document.
Dispute private background reports separately A government correction may not immediately update a private reporting company.

Expunction

An eligible expunction can require covered government records from an arrest to be destroyed or removed. Eligibility is limited and fact-specific.

District Clerk Expunctions: 817-884-1231

Read Texas expunction guidance

Order of nondisclosure

A nondisclosure order restricts public disclosure of an eligible record but does not erase it from every authorised government system.

District Clerk Nondisclosures: 817-884-2508

Open Texas court forms
Correction is different from clearing. Correction addresses inaccurate information. Expunction and nondisclosure address accurate records that may qualify for legal relief.

10 title-specific questions

Tarrant County daily booking questions answered

How do I view today’s Tarrant County arrest log?

Open the official Tarrant County Daily Booked In Reports page and select Day 1, which the Sheriff’s Office identifies as the newest report. The PDF covers inmates booked during the preceding 24-hour reporting period. Read the report date at the top, then save the person’s name, CID, book-in date, booking number and charge descriptions.

How many days of Tarrant County booking reports are available?

Tarrant County publishes 14 rolling Daily Booked In Reports. Day 1 is the newest report and Day 14 is the oldest report currently available from that page. For an arrest outside that 14-day window, use the individual inmate search, court records or a public-record request.

Is the Tarrant County daily booking report the same as the inmate search?

No. The Daily Booked In Report is a dated list of people processed during a 24-hour period. It does not prove that someone remains in jail. The individual inmate search is the better tool for current custody, location, charges and bond information. Call 817-884-3000 when the live status is unclear.

What information appears in the Tarrant County daily arrest log?

The official report includes the inmate name, an identifier section, CID, book-in date, booking number and charge description. A booking number can repeat when several charges belong to the same intake. The charge description is an allegation and not a conviction or final court disposition.

Why is a recent Tarrant County arrest missing from the daily log?

The person may still be processing, may have been booked after the reporting cutoff, may appear in the next report, may be listed under another spelling, may have received a citation, or may be held by a city jail or another county. Search several report days, use the individual inmate search and call 817-884-3000 when needed.

How do I check a Tarrant County inmate’s bond and release status?

Use the individual inmate search and review every displayed charge and bond. Tarrant County also publishes 14 rolling Daily Bond Reports, but those reports list bonds issued during a reporting period and are not a guarantee of current custody or completed release. Call the jail information line at 817-884-3000 before paying or travelling.

Where do I find the court result after a Tarrant County arrest?

Class A and B misdemeanor records are maintained by the Tarrant County Clerk Criminal Division. Felony records are maintained by the Tarrant County District Clerk. Search the correct office using the case number or defendant information and read the disposition for every count rather than relying only on the booking charge.

How do I request a Tarrant County arrest or offense report?

Request a Sheriff’s Office-created record from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Records Division through its online request portal, by email at TCSO_Records@tarrantcountytx.gov, or at 200 Taylor Street, sixth floor, Fort Worth. If a city police department made the arrest, request the report from that department instead.

How do I visit or send money to a Tarrant County inmate?

Verify current custody before travelling. General visitation is assigned by the inmate’s last-name group and is limited to one 30-minute visit per day and three visits per week. Tarrant County accepts inmate deposits through Access Corrections, facility kiosks, telephone and approved cash-walk-in options. Cash is not accepted by mail.

Can a Tarrant County arrest record be expunged or sealed?

Some Texas cases qualify for expunction, while others may qualify for an order of nondisclosure. Eligibility depends on the arrest, charge, court result, waiting period, prior history and other cases arising from the same event. Obtain the complete misdemeanor or felony disposition before using current Texas forms or seeking legal advice.
