Parker County Arrest Records Search | Recent Bookings

Parker County, Texas · Jail records, recent arrests, bond and criminal court lookup

Find a Parker County Booking Even Without a “Recent Bookings” Date Filter

If someone was arrested in Parker County today or overnight, start with the Sheriff’s jail search using the legal first and last name used at booking. Parker County’s current system no longer offers the old search-by-date option, so a name search—and the booking desk when necessary—is the fastest route to a recent arrest.

Once you locate the person, do not stop at the jail entry. Save the booking and bond details, then open Parker County Judicial Records Search to see the criminal case. This page also shows exactly where to request the arrest report, how to visit, where personal mail actually goes, how commissary deposits work, and which clerk handles felony versus misdemeanor records.

An arrest record is not a finding of guilt. A jail booking tells you that a person entered custody under a particular allegation or authority. Charges can be rejected, amended, dismissed or resolved differently in court. Use the criminal docket for the legal outcome.
No date filter

The Sheriff says the newer jail software does not currently search bookings by date.

Important portal change

How “recent bookings” work in Parker County now

There is currently no official booking-by-date search. Parker County Sheriff’s Office specifically states that its newer Judicial/Records Management software does not have the old search-by-date option. The agency has said it is exploring whether that functionality can be added.

That matters because many old guides tell users to open a “recent bookings” list and choose today’s date. That instruction does not match Parker County’s current public system.

If you know who was arrested Search the exact legal first and last name the person would have used during booking.
If the spelling is uncertain Use the wildcard option described by the Sheriff. Enter the first initial in the field rather than using a wildcard by itself.
If the arrest happened very recently A missing result can mean the person is still moving through booking. Call the booking desk after checking alternate legal-name spellings.
If the person may already be out Check Parker County Judicial Records for a criminal case even when the jail search does not answer the question.
If Weatherford Police made the arrest The city publishes Daily Media Reports covering recent police activity. These may help identify an incident, but they are not a complete Parker County jail-booking roster.
Weatherford media reports are supplemental. They cover police activity handled by Weatherford Police and can include incidents where no one was arrested. They are useful when you know WPD was involved, but they should not be presented as a countywide booking database.

What a Parker County jail or bond record can—and cannot—tell you

Use each field to decide the next source to check
Record detail What it helps answer What it does not prove Next check
Booked name How the person is indexed in the jail system. Identity when several people share that name. Compare DOB and case details.
Booking / jail identifier Which custody event you are viewing. That every prior arrest belongs to this event. Use it when contacting jail staff.
Arresting agency Which law-enforcement office likely created the arrest or offense narrative. That Parker County Sheriff wrote the report. Request records from that agency.
Charge What allegation is associated with booking or the case. That the prosecutor ultimately filed or proved it. Read the criminal court case.
Bond A current monetary release condition associated with a case or charge. That paying one amount clears every case or hold. Verify all active charges before paying.
Release status Whether the displayed jail stay has ended. The criminal case was dismissed. Search the court disposition.
Case number Which Parker County criminal case follows the arrest. All allegations from the arrest became filed counts. Enter it in Judicial Records Search.
Do not identify someone from a name alone. Before publishing, paying bond, sending money or treating a record as belonging to one person, compare at least two independent identifiers.
No result?

Work through these possibilities before assuming the person is not there

The legal booking name is different Try the legal surname, first initial and wildcard rather than a nickname.
Booking may still be in progress A very recent arrest can precede a usable public record.
The person may already have been released Search the related court case and contact the jail when the custody timeline is unclear.
The arrest occurred in another county The incident may be near Parker County while the actual booking happened elsewhere.
The event did not result in county-jail booking Citations and some other enforcement actions can create a court matter without the same jail trail.
The record may be legally restricted Juvenile, expunged and other protected information may not appear publicly.
What to say to the booking desk
I am trying to confirm whether [full legal name], date of birth [date], was booked into Parker County Jail on or around [date/time]. I have already tried the public name search. Can you tell me whether the person is currently booked, still processing, released, transferred, or indexed under a different legal spelling?

For HCSO-created records, the Sheriff requires Public Information Act requests to be in writing. The office specifically says it does not accept an Open Records request by telephone.

  • Describe the exact report or information requested.
  • Include names, date, location and incident/report number when known.
  • Ask for electronic records when that meets your need.

Confirm the current amount before paying Bond conditions can change after magistrate or court action.
If using a surety company, verify it Parker County maintains a Bail Bond Board resource for approved bonding companies.
Keep the paperwork Preserve the receipt, case number, amount, premium and collateral terms.
Cash-bond refund is not automatic at the jail window. Location matters

Parker County Jail address, entrance and operator

Parker County Jail
612 Jameson Street
Weatherford, TX 76086

Jail / Booking Desk: 817-594-4208

Where the entrance is

The Sheriff specifically identifies the main jail entrance at the corner of Jameson Street and N. Mill Street, opposite the Sheriff’s Office entrance.

Who operates the facility?

The jail remains the constitutional responsibility of the Parker County Sheriff, while current daily operations are managed by LaSalle Corrections. The Sheriff’s page identifies Ron King as warden.

Before driving there: Recheck custody status and call 817-594-4208 when the person may be processing, released or transferred. The current jail page identifies the entrance but does not publish a specific visitor-parking fee or guaranteed parking area, so follow on-site signs rather than relying on a guessed parking instruction.
Call before traveling

Parker County Jail visitation rules that are safe to rely on

Freshness warning: The Sheriff’s visitation landing page still contains COVID-era mask and temperature-screening language. Because that wording may not reflect current daily practice, this article does not tell visitors that those specific health-screening rules are definitely still in effect. Use the Sheriff’s current linked visitation schedule and call the visitation office before traveling.
Visits are described as in-person and non-contact.
The minimum visitation period is 20 minutes.
Offenders receive two visits per week.
Visitation is limited to four visitors per inmate.
Visitors may switch during the 20-minute period.
Adult visitors must show valid identification.
The Sheriff tells visitors to arrive 20 minutes before sign-up.
At least one visitation period is to be available during evening or weekend hours.
Visitation Office: 682-229-2361 (the Sheriff notes this number is not staffed 24 hours)
Jail: 817-594-4208
Do not plan a trip from an old screenshot. Visit schedules can change. Check the schedule linked on the Sheriff’s live page on the same day you plan to visit.
Two addresses — do not mix them

Mail, phone calls, commissary and inmate money

Parker County uses different routes for a letter and a mailed commissary payment. Sending a money order to the personal-correspondence address—or a normal letter marked as trust-fund mail—can create unnecessary problems.

Personal correspondence

Current Sheriff instructions list this address:

Inmate’s Name / Inmate ID
C/O Parker County Jail
PO Box 16120
Jonesboro, AR 72403
  • Incoming and outgoing mail is screened.
  • Do not send money through ordinary correspondence.
  • Do not send stamps, paper or envelopes.
  • Drugs, tobacco and sexually explicit material are prohibited.
  • The current page states that mailed items are not accepted for inmates; necessities are available through commissary or the tablet system.
Check current inmate-contact instructions

Mailed commissary money

A cashier’s check or money order follows a different rule:

C/O Inmate Trust Fund
[Inmate’s Name]
612 Jameson Street
Weatherford, TX 76086
  • Make the cashier’s check or money order payable to “C/O Inmate Trust Fund” and the inmate’s name.
  • Write Inmate Trust Fund on the outside of the envelope.
  • A cashier’s check or money order may also be delivered to the Visitation Officer during visitation hours.

Online

HCSO directs online payments through Correct Solutions Group.

Open CSGPay
Jail lobby kiosk

The kiosk is in the Parker County Jail lobby at 612 Jameson Street and accepts cash, credit or debit cards according to the Sheriff’s current commissary page.

Weekly commissary limit

The Sheriff currently states that offenders may make commissary purchases of up to $200 per week.

Phone calls and voicemail

Parker County Sheriff states that the inmate phone system has been serviced by Correct Solutions Group since August 2022. Family and friends can create an account through the provider and may also use the system to leave a voicemail for an inmate.
Case-conversation warning: Normal inmate telephone calls and social communications should not be treated as confidential attorney-client communication. Avoid discussing witnesses, passwords, evidence or legal strategy.
Health and accessibility

If you are worried about an inmate’s medical or mental-health needs

On-site infirmary

The Parker County Sheriff states that the jail has an on-site infirmary staffed 24 hours a day by medical-care professionals.

Mental-health services

The Sheriff’s current medical page identifies Pecan Valley MHMR of Texas as the provider of mental-health services.

Accessibility

The Sheriff states that the jail facility is ADA compliant.

For a concern about someone already in custody, call Parker County Jail at 817-594-4208 and provide the inmate’s legal name and identifying information so staff can route the concern appropriately.

Old, wrong or legally clearable records

Correction, expunction and nondisclosure are three different problems

Incorrect information

Find which system is wrong: Sheriff record, city police report, court docket or DPS history. Send the correction evidence to the office that owns that record.

Expunction

An eligible Texas expunction can require covered records to be removed or destroyed. Eligibility depends on the exact arrest and disposition.

Nondisclosure

An eligible order of nondisclosure restricts public disclosure of certain criminal-history information but does not mean every government record disappears.

Find the exact arrest and case Save the jail record, arresting agency, cause number and court.
Obtain the final disposition A dismissal, acquittal, plea, deferred adjudication or conviction can affect the available remedy.
Correct factual errors first An incorrect date or disposition is a correction issue, not automatically an expunction case.
Review current Texas eligibility Use Texas court forms or TexasLawHelp rather than relying on an old checklist.
File in the correct court when eligible Preserve a certified copy of the signed order after the process is complete.
Parker County District Clerk expunction amounts currently stated online
Item Published amount
Expunction filing fee $350
Entity without provided email address Additional $25 per entity
Certified expunction order $1 per page plus $5 certification fee
Do not promise removal based only on a dismissal. Texas eligibility depends on the complete case history and statutory requirements. Obtain the final Parker County disposition before deciding which procedure applies.

Local practical notes

Six Parker County details that prevent common mistakes

There is no current date filter

Do not waste time looking for an official “today’s bookings” button that the current system does not provide.

The legal name matters

The Sheriff specifically says the inmate must be searched under the legal name used at booking.

There are two inmate-mail routes

Letters go to Jonesboro, Arkansas; mailed trust-fund payments go to Jameson Street in Weatherford.

Do not use old phone-provider comments

The current Sheriff page says Correct Solutions Group services inmate telephones. Older comments on legacy pages may mention prior providers.

Check the current visitation schedule

The live landing page still contains older pandemic wording, so confirm current operational details before driving to the jail.

Felony and misdemeanor clerks differ

Felony files go through the District Clerk; county misdemeanor files go through the County Clerk’s court divisions.

10 Parker County FAQs

Parker County arrest records and recent-booking questions

How do I search Parker County Texas arrest records?

Start with the Parker County Sheriff’s official Jail Search page and open the county jail-record search. The Sheriff says the current system requires the first and last name the person was legally booked under. A wildcard can be used when the spelling is uncertain, but enter the first initial in the field. If you find the person, save the booking information and then use Parker County Judicial Records Search to check the related criminal court case.

How can I find recent Parker County bookings if there is no booking-date filter?

Parker County Sheriff’s Office says its newer Judicial and Records Management software does not currently provide the previous search-by-date option. For a recent arrest, search the person’s legal first and last name, use the wildcard option when necessary, and call the booking desk at 817-594-4208 if the person still cannot be located. Weatherford Police also publishes recent daily media reports for incidents inside Weatherford, but those reports are not a complete county jail booking list.

Why can I not find someone in the Parker County Jail search?

The person may still be processing, the booked legal name may differ from the name you entered, the arrest may have occurred in another county, the person may have been released, or the event may not have resulted in a Parker County jail booking. Try the legal surname and first initial with the wildcard option, check Parker County court records, and call the booking desk at 817-594-4208 when the status remains unclear.

Does a Parker County jail record show the final result of the criminal case?

No. A jail or bond record is useful for custody, booking and release information, but an arrest does not prove guilt and the original allegation can change. Search Parker County Judicial Records by defendant name or case number to locate the filed criminal case, hearings and court outcome.

How do I request a Parker County Sheriff arrest or offense report?

Parker County Sheriff’s open-records requests must be submitted in writing; the Sheriff does not accept a Public Information Act request by phone. Requests may be directed to April Little at the Sheriff’s Office, 129 Hogle Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, emailed to april.little@parkercountytx.com, or faxed to 817-594-7809. For questions about obtaining a police report, the Sheriff’s Records Division lists 817-594-8845.

Where is the Parker County Jail?

Parker County Jail is at 612 Jameson Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. The Sheriff’s Office says the main jail entrance is at the corner of Jameson Street and North Mill Street, opposite the Sheriff’s Office entrance. The jail phone number is 817-594-4208.

How do I visit an inmate at Parker County Jail?

Parker County Sheriff’s visitation page states that visits are in-person and non-contact, with a minimum visit period of 20 minutes and two visits per week for offenders. Visitation is limited to four visitors per inmate, adult visitors must show valid identification, and visitors are told to arrive 20 minutes before sign-up. Because the landing page still contains older COVID-era wording, check the current visitation schedule linked by the Sheriff or call the Visitation Office at 682-229-2361 before traveling.

What address do I use for Parker County inmate mail and commissary money?

Ordinary inmate correspondence currently goes to the inmate’s name and inmate ID, care of Parker County Jail, P.O. Box 16120, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72403. A mailed commissary cashier’s check or money order follows a different route: it is made payable to C/O Inmate Trust Fund and the inmate’s name, mailed to 612 Jameson Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, with Inmate Trust Fund written on the outside of the envelope.

How do I check bond for a Parker County inmate?

Use the Parker County jail and bond records link from the county’s Judicial Records Search page, then verify the person’s identity, each charge, the bond amount and any additional hold before paying. Parker County also publishes a Bail Bond Board resource for approved bonding companies. If a cash bond is later eligible for return, the District Clerk says the proper paperwork must be presented to the judge before the clerk can issue the refund check ordered by the court.

Can a Parker County arrest record be expunged or placed under nondisclosure?

Some Texas records may qualify for expunction and others may qualify for an order of nondisclosure. Parker County District Clerk currently lists a 350 dollar expunction filing fee and an additional 25 dollar fee per entity when the entity’s email address is not provided. Eligibility depends on the exact arrest and court disposition, so obtain the complete case result before using Texas court forms, TexasLawHelp or legal counsel.
