Can paying recall the municipal warrant?

The court states that the warrant will be recalled once payment of the total amount due is received. Before paying, make sure you understand whether you want to resolve the citation by payment or appear before the judge to ask about another available option.

General Laredo Municipal Court payments may be made online, by telephone, mail, drop box or in person. The court’s payment line is 1-888-291-1852; the citation number and date of birth are required. Service fees apply to card transactions.

If the municipal warrant already resulted in arrest

For a City of Laredo Class C misdemeanor warrant, Municipal Court states that a person who is arrested may post a cash bond or pay the fine. A cash bond is usually equal to the fine and court costs and is accepted in cash, cashier’s check or money order. The receipt identifies when the defendant must return to court.
